Dean Robbins is a writer and editor for CCAC Allegheny Campus' Allegheny View newspaper and Wild Cat News. He writes on the intersection of culture and media.  Robbins was awarded the MVP for the View at the 2019 Star Awards among three other awards. Robbins is also active in Student Life and is an officer of three clubs and member of seven. He has served as president of the Students for Human Life & Dignity for over two years as well as being vice president of the Coalition for Christian Outreach and Officer of Communication for PTK Alpha Mu Theta. He has pushed his fellow officers and club members to write for the paper. Throughout his time at the View, Robbins has pioneered new sections and initiatives. Currently, he is developing a YouTube channel for the View tentatively named Wild Cat TV and a new satire section called the Allegheny Lampoon. Robbins is a dual enrollment student and is currently a Junior in high school. He is currently in his third year of four at CCAC and plans to transfer to Point Park University in Fall 2021 to study psychology and history. He is specifically interested in philosophical psychology and the history of new media. When he is not sleeping or at school, he is in a movie theater.
